KaKaRoTo releases PS3IDA for devs

by KingX - on Mar 20th 2011 - No Comments

KaKaRoTo has released this tool for the developers in the PS3 scene. It is called PS3IDA and has the tool called PS3 Jump Table Analyser v0.1 for IDA v6.0. It is a collection of IDA scripts and plugins which also includes PPCJT. If you are not an IDA user or do not know what IDA is, you will probably not understand what this is. It does not lead to jailbreaking the CFW 3.60. As stated before, it is only useful for devs that work with IDA.

KaKaRoTo: New PS3 exploit found — all future firmware versions will be jailbroken

by Rith - on Mar 17th 2011 - 2 Comments

but it needs probably 2 or more months of work to get it to actually be tested.

KaKaRoTo added that, until there’s a reason to release the jailbreak, we can keep holding our breaths–maybe until firmware v3.7x

I probably won’t release this until 3.7 or something
