Not sure if anyone notice KaKaRoTo’s tweets a few days ago, but the man who reveals to have found the solution for 4.00 have confirmed that the newly released 4.10 firmware is jailbreakable, but still, he advises not to update just yet.
He reiterated that install packages function works fine in 4.10 but the team who is working on the jailbreak unable to run apps in either 4.00 or 4.10 which they still need to find the exploit for.
KaKaRoTo later advises not to upgrade to the latest PS3 firmware unless it is really needed. 4.00 HEN (Homebrew ENabler) has been announced since November last year.
Ummmm, this is misleading. There are major pieces missing (Like executing unsigned code) AFAIK.

I’m not trying to be pessimistic or anything but, i think it’s going to take a hell of alot of time for KaKaRoToKS to be able to jailbreak 4.00. Would it be easier if he focused his attention on 3.73 so that we could be able to play games like Arkham City, AC Revelations, Ace Combat Assault Horizon, MW3 on our backup managers?

KaKaRoTo knows what he is doing but unknownHAXZ has already cracked all 4.11 including all unsigned codes. We have also accomplished 4.11 to be 100% undetectable for online modding and etc. We are a new PS3 jailbreaking team. The download will be released April 20th on http://www.mediafire.com
