Quickly Shut Off Yor Flashlight
In iOS’s Control Center, an access to a flashlight is included. If your flashlight is active, you’ll be able to shut it off quickly using the camera shortcut from your iPhone’s lock screen.

Close Three Apps At Once
Do you need to force-close multiple applications quickly? Instead of looking like you’re clawing your phone’s screen, swipe your screen with three fingers to close three apps.

Search Text Messages
Here’s another feature that you might not know about your iPhone. If you want to find a specific text message, at the top of the message interface, pull down the search bar or simply tap on it to reveal it.

Use Rich Formatting
In some apps, you can make texts bold, italics or underlined. But if you have no idea it exists, then you might miss it.
Highlight the text you wish to edit, and then in the copy/paste pop-up, tap the arrow. After that, select the “B I U”  to configure the formatting options.

Make Custom Vibration Alerts
Do you wanna know if your girlfriend is calling without looking at your phone? iPhone has got a fun option that will let you create a custom vibration for specific contacts.
To do this, go to Contacts, then pick a contact, and on the upper-tight corner, tap Edit.
Scroll your way down to Vibration, tap on it select Create New Vibration. An interactive screen will open, create a pattern tapping and holding. If you want long vibrations, use long presses.

Lock Focus and Exposure
When you’re using your iPhone’s camera, tapping its screen will set the focus and exposure for that object. However, the settings will be lost the moment the camera moves.
To lock your iPhone’s focus and exposure, tap and then hold until a yellow bar appears at the top of your phone’s screen. Even if you move your camera, the exposure and focus will be unaffected.

Charge Your Device Faster
There are times that you will need to charge your phone fast, and the quickest way to do that is to enable Airplane Mode. This will cut off all your phone’s data transmissions, and your device will charge faster. Also, be sure to leave your backlight off, too.

Gotta catch ‘em all, yeah? Well then, here’s how you can catch those Legendary Pokemons in Pokemon X and Y. Before we start, let us curb any optimism straight away. You won’t be able to have all the legendary Pokemons in the game without trading.

How To Catch Moltres, Articudo Or Zapdos

The other legendary Pokemons you can collect in the game that are not associated with Pokemon X and Y are the legendary birds. However, it will depend on which starter Pokemon you’re gonna pick.

  • If you choose Froakie, the legendary bird Moltres will appear.
  • If you choose Chespin, the legendary bird Articuno will appear.
  • If you choose Fennekin, the legendary bird Zapdos will appear.

Once you have defeated the Elite Four, your legendary bird will appear. It will roam the world and you will have travel again to catch it.
Good thing you have your Pokedex with you – it can track the legendary bird’s current location. The bird will randomly appear when you walk around in tall grass.
When the bird shows, it will have its unique entry animation, so you’ll immediately know when a legendary bird has arrived.
The only annoying part of catching it is the fact that you’ll have to find it ten times. Why?
Because every time you’ll encounter the bird, it will flee. But once you’re done, it will appear in the Sea Spirit’s Den where you will be able to catch it once and for all.

If you want to get all the legendary birds, your only option is to trade for them, either with a friend of yours or on the Global Trade Network.

How To Get Other Legendary Pokemons

Earlier, we mentioned that you will not be able to catch all legendary Pokemons in the game, which means, the only way of collecting all of them will be thru trades.

Tip:
Across Kalos, you will come across some cafes where you will be given an option to make an upgrade for your seating for a better tier, but of course, for a fee.
If you pay 5,000 Pokedollar, your seating will be upgraded to the best and an NPC will appear in the next area. He will show you a Legendary Pokemon, or if you’re generous enough – he will show you a pseudo-legendary Pokemon like Dragonite, which will be added to your Pokedex.
This does not mean you can get the Pokemon, but it will be unlocked for searching on the GTS. (Global Trade System)
There is no assurance that you’ll be able to trade one of these, but there’s a chance you will find someone looking for a specific Pokemon to trade for one of these legendary Pokemons.

Gotta catch ‘em all, yeah? Well then, here’s how you can catch those Legendary Pokemons in Pokemon X and Y. Before we start, let us curb any optimism straight away. You won’t be able to have all the legendary Pokemons in the game without trading.

You are only allowed to catch the legendary Pokemon Xerneas in Pokemon X, and the legendary Pokemon Yvetal in Pokemon Y. But both X and Y versions will have access to the legendary Pokemon Zygarde.

How To Catch Xernes Or Yvetal
These two Pokemons are version specific, meaning, you’ll only be able to catch one or the other depending on what version you have.
Xerneas and Yvetal appear as part of the game and can both be found in the lab of Team Flare. Keep in mind that this is the only chance you will be able to catch either of the two so be very careful. Avoid killing it, and save your game beforehand.

The legendary Xerneas is a Fairy-Type Pokemon so it’s weak to Poison and Steel, and takes half damage from Dark, Bug, Fighting-type attacks. This Pokemon is immune to Dragon.

On the other hand, the legendary Yvetal is a Dark/Flying-type Pokemon so it is weak to Fairy, Rock, Electric and Ice, and takes half damage from Dark, Grass and Ghost-type attacks. This Pokemon is immune to Psychic and Ground.

If you want to get these two legendary Pokemons at the same time, you will have to trade for it, either with a friend of yours or on the Global Trade Network.

How To Catch Zygarde And Mewtwo
Zygarde is available for both X and Y versions. You can find this Pokemon at the end of the Terminus Cave.
The legendary Zygarde is a Dragon/Ground-type Pokemon and is weak to Fairy, Dragon and Ice-type attacks. It takes half damage from Rock, Poison and Fire and is also immune to Electric.

To catch Mewtwo, you must first defeat the Elite Four. After you defeat them, head inside the Unknown Cave near the Pokemon Village. Use Surf to cross the river nearby to reach the cave.
The legendary Mewtwo is the same Mewtwo that was previously seen in other games, but it can Mega Evolve to either Mega Mewtwo X or Mega Mewtwo Y. It depends on which version of the game you have.

For Mewtwo to Mega Evolve, upgrade your Mega Ring then pay a visit to the Unknown Cave between 8:00 PM and 9:00 PM to find the Mewtwoite, which is needed to Mega Evolve Mewtwo.

Fallout 4 (Image Credit Machinima YouTube)

There was an ongoing buzz for a while regarding the announcement of Bethesda’s Fallout 4 this coming Gamescom. There are tons of rumors revolving about the game going to be officially announced at the said event, or at least Bethesda would give its fans some sort of teaser.

As how many game rumors are talked about as yearly events like E3 draws near, a lot of people are also jumping on the bandwagon of “Fallout 4’s announcement”. While Bethesda is indeed going to make its appearance at this year’s German gaming convention, there’s little to no sign of Fallout 4 tagging along with them.

Several people on Twitter have been asking Pete Hines about updates or news regarding Fallout 4, but he gave them nothing, but a blunt reply that only the “Evil Within” and ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) will be their main focus for the event.

To debunk these rumors, he concluded his response with a “Now you can stop wondering” message.

Fans might switch their hope to other events like Spike’s VGA or QuakeCon (yes, they might be THIS desperate), still, it is safe to say that regardless of how many false rumors, leaks or blog posts for this year, there’s no way that we’ll learn about any new post-apocalyptic open-world shooter from Bethesda. The best bet we can count on might even be E3 2015.

To ease some virtual pain for the fans, it is good to know that Bethesda’s Tom Howard once said that they prefer to surprise gamers rather than letting them bite into chunk-sized bits about any upcoming game, so even if there’s no official talk about Fallout 4, we’ll never know until they actually surprise us with it.

The latest Fallout was well received that it sold 4.7 million units worldwide and all that in its first year. There is no official announcement about Fallout 4, but fans can pretty much feel it in their guts that there’s something in the works and it should be the 4th game in the series. However, we really can’t expect Bethesda to show us something or anything about it until 2015.

Dishonored 2 Leak (Image Credit to Machinima YouTube)

Aside from the Thief series, there’s this one game that redefined the term “stealth” in videogames, and it happens to be called Dishonored. The game was originally released back in October 2012, and it didn’t take long enough to make waves. It easily became  one of the best action-adventure games of the year and it certainly warranted a sequel.

Rumors have it that the next game is already in the works and was supposed to make an appearance in the recent E3 2014, but that didn’t happen. Fortunately, despite being quiet about the development, more sources pointed out additional details about the game’s development progress, particularly with the story.

A reliable source spoke with Now Gamer and revealed that Arkane Studios is greatly considered to replace the former protagonist in the first game which is Corvo. If you have played the first game, then you might remember Emily Kaldwin. She is the little girl you saw at the beginning of Dishonored’s game. The one who asked to play hide and seek with you.

It is safe to assume that she is not the child that she was in the first game, so the game’s setting would probably be a few years after the events of the first game. It is also mentioned that the second Dishonored game would take place outside Dunwall, so it is likely that we might be playing on either of the three islands: Tyvia, Morley or Serkonos.

Still, all of this information was leaked at the earliest points of the game’s development, so we can pretty much expect that much has changed since then. This makes it a little less believable, but then again, we don’t have much else to go on, so it’s still good at some point.

The leaker also stated that Dishonored 2 is being developed by Arkane Lyon.

Xiaomi Mi3 (Image Credit to xiaomiworld.com)

The next ‘Apple’ might be found in China, according to some of this company’s supporters. It is run by a founder which might have just reached a “Steve Jobs”-like achievement among his followers.

Xiaomi Technology may be a brand name that is unknown to the entire world, but in China, it is definitely a household name. As Reuters reports, like Apple in the U.S and in other countries, Xiaomi attracts everybody’s attention when they are about to release a new product in China, and it is not surprising to see some people in China, skip a day off work just to get the latest that Xiaomi has to offer.

There’s a saying that when something is cheap, quality’s probably the same, but, this is the usual belief that Xiaomi crushes with most of their devices, particularly in the smartphones department, especially with their latest flagship,  the Xiaomi Mi3. This smartphone has been around for quite a while and it is performing so well that it is capable of beating other well-known brands like Samsung’s Galaxy S4, S5, or even Apple’s iPhone 5.

So what’s so great about Xiaomi Mi3? It is a great and classy looking smartphone. Its thin profile also adds up to the sophisticated and “premium” feel of the phone. It also has a very bright IPS screen protected by Gorilla Glass technology. The screen’s resolution is even better than that of Galaxy S5. It has 441 ppi pixel with full 1080p resolution, while Galaxy S5 only has 432 ppi. The only downside about the screen is that, it is a fingerprint magnet.

Most phones can easily achieve these aforementioned niceties, but it is the internal specs and capabilities that Xiaomi Mi3 shines the brightest. It is powered by a Qualcomm MSM8274AB Snapdragon 800 processor, and if all those figures and codes are confusing you, let’s say that this was supposedly the fastest phone by the time that the model was launched. The operating system it runs on is a heavily modified Android system that looks strikingly similar with iOS and is called MIUI v5. The interface is VERY responsive.

The battery life is also great with this little piece of magnificence. With a 3050mAh battery, the smartphone could stay alive pretty long with constant music/video streaming and gaming.

And since we’re talking about gaming, the Xiaomi Mi3 is a pure godsend for android gaming. Most graphic intensive games like Real Racing 3, Modern Combat 4, Dungeon Hunter 4, etc., run pretty flawless and they look really good too.

Both the rear 13-megapixel snapper and the 2-megapixel front facing camera produce great looking photos as well.

If you’re a “numbers” person when it comes to selecting your phone models, it might help to mention that Xiaomi Mi3 has a 36000+ score on AnTuTu.com. That is better than Galaxy S4’s 26000+ or, possibly, even Galaxy S5.

If there’s any phone which breaks the rule of only getting two from these three things: good, cheap and fast, it is Xiaomi Mi3, as it gets all three of them, and more. With a price of $320+, you get more than you pay for.
