GRID Autosport will be on PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on on June 24 in North America and June 27 in Europe, Codemasters confirmed.
Ben Walke, Community Manager at Codemasters confirmed the good news in an official blog post introducing GRID as the next game in the GRID series and the descendant of TOCA Touring Cars.
He said that GRID aims to bring back the game in the line as a more authentic racing game. Walke said that for GRID, their team had gone back to a more authentic handling style having in mind that handling is actually one or two steps further towards simulation than Race Driver: GRID.
Aside from this, GRID Autosport will feature five distinct disciplines, namely: Touring, Endurance, Open Wheel, Tuner and Street.
However, the team said that though GRID Autosport will not feature a full simulation, they have made it to be authentic rather than clinical.
Moreover, GRID Autosport will be featuring 22 locations, plus a combined route list, which is more or less 100 locations overall. Codemasters said, “While we will have a selection of great city based locations it’s the circuits that make up the bulk of the roster and there’s a great variety on offer.”
Codemasters also said the with the GRID Autosport, it will allow gamers to become a professional racing driver. Codemasters said that as players make progress in the games, it will enable them to join and switch teams, fulfill sponsor demands and beat rivals. In addition, the company is proud to say that racing with a teammate is back, which means that a player will now have the chance to attack the cars ahead or defend their position.
Aside from GRID: Autosport, the confirmed video games to be released this June includes the following:
• BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma • EA Sports UFC • Enemy Front • How to Train Your Dragon 2 • Hyperdimension Neptunia: Producing Reflection • MotoGP 2014 • Murdered: Soul Suspect • PlayStation Vita Pets • Sniper Elite 3 • The Elder Scrolls Online • Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark • Ultra Street Fighter IV • XBlaze Code: Embryo
“…with GRID Autosport we had the opportunity to make a much more focused motorsport game, a desire that many of you have expressed directly to us, and a game that in spirit goes back to some of our earlier titles in terms of content and handling,” Codemasters said.
It’s now official. Dragon Age: Inquisition will come to the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One on October 7, 2014.
Preorder is now available for the game. Players will get the Flames of the Inquisition pack as an added bonus.
The image you see here is the cover art of the game’s box when it will be released.
The release is also accompanied by a new gameplay trailer titled: ‘The Inquisitor Gameplay Trailer’.
Mark Darrah, Dragon Age executive producer, also adds in some interesting lore for the game and the player’s role as Inquisitor.
‘Order is a rare commodity in today’s Thedas. Mages and templars are in conflict. The Empire of Orlais is locked in a civil war. Ferelden remains weak after the Fifth Blight. No one stands ready to take action when the sky rips open and demons start pouring out.
To face this incursion and uncover those behind it will require more than any one man or woman could muster. It will require dedicated, highly trained troops to ensure order is restored wherever it’s needed. It will require spies to ferret out those who stand to gain from the chaos or could be behind it. It will require diplomats with silver tongues to convince good men and woman to act when it’s easier to watch the world burn.
It will require the Inquisition.’
The game starts with you becoming the sole survivor in a magical explosion that creates, what is known as, the Breach, a massive hole in the sky at the heart of the trouble. There are a lot of speculations about what you really are. Questions such as: Are you the one responsible for the explosion? Could you be the chosen one selected to right all the wrongs in the world? Are you simply just lucky enough to survive?
The various races will come into play here as different races have different religions and their take on the events that occurred can also affect how you play the game.
This new game is quite promising and has gotten quite a lot of fan interest as there are quite a lot of changes since the last game’s installment.
Mobile Tech Apps and Sites For a No Car and No Office Work Life: Wi-Fi Finder, ShareDesk, DeskTime, Barclays Bikes App, BusChecker, Tube Map, Thunderspace, Coffitivity and Ambiance
Many people regard the use of mobile technology as a crucial tool to create a “virtual office” environment. Many mobile tech experts, however, emphasize that the use of mobile devices means so much more than just replacing the traditional office workspace with a home office setting.
As many companies have shown in recent times, the use of mobile devices, provides many employers and workers more options than just working at home. It enables many employees, as well as business owners, the means to work “on the go”.
In short, work has become more of what people do, versus where they go to during workdays.
It provides individuals to have more practical use of the available time, and even make use of what used to be periods of downtime in the traditional setting.
Mobile technology has also risen to the reinvention of the traditional work day, week, month or year.
This development and change in work schedule and habits, because of the use of mobile tech, is affecting more and more people, especially those who belong to the Generation Y (those born in the late 80′s).
To illustrate this situation, it would be worthwhile to note several mobile tech apps that have spearheaded this “no-car” and “no-office” revolution that is sweeping the world today.
Wi-Fi Finder – Of course, no virtual office can exist without the connection to the internet. Many people find it beneficial to spend their 9 to 5 days in their home offices, but more and more workers find the need to do their jobs on the go. Which is why finding the nearest wi-fi hotspot is important. Wi-Fi Finder is an app (available for Apple and Android devices) that can search for the nearest hotspot in 650 Thousand locations in 144 countries.
ShareDesk and DeskTime – For those who literally have no office space to meet and greet clients, ShareDesk (www.sharedesk.net ) and DeskTime (https://www.desktimeapp.com/ ) are sites / apps that provide desk space for the day (or week / month) as needed. The site/ app makes it easy for the “mobile worker” to search for the right location and office items (printer, kitchen, etc..) needed for the meeting or project.
Barclays Bikes App and Other Bike Apps – The Barclays Bikes app and other similar apps provide the car-less traveler the nearest bike parking / docking stations, as well as where to get available bikes. These apps also provide bike routes so you won’t be late for that meeting.
BusChecker, TubeMap, National Rail Enquiries – No car and can’t ride a bike? No sweat. Use the public transport available and get live updates on various transport services using apps like TubeMap, National Rail Enquiries or BusChecker. These and other similar apps are available for both iOS and Android devices.
Ambiance, Thunderspace and Coffitivity – Simulate the natural sounds of nature to create a better working environment (than what you have) in order to be more productive with your work. Thunderspace not only provides the sound of wind and thunder, but also emits flashing “lightning” lights that are in sync with the audio. Do you miss that “coffee shop” sound where you wrote your first novel? Then download and use Coffitivity to provide you with the energizing “noise” found in coffee shops. Ambiance on the other hand lets you create your own environment with thousands of sounds at your disposal.
For those thinking of working in a virtual office, don’t think that having no office space or car will decrease your productivity. The proper use of mobile technology will make sure that you get the job done properly.
LG G3 features new and modern user interface according to a leak which shows flatter and brighter icons compared to the previous LG Optimus UI.
LG G3 UI Revamped
LG will release a new user interface for their future devices and it is debuting on the upcoming LG G3 smartphone. Digital Trends caught the screenshots containing the leaks of the UI revamped by LG, that shows flatter and brighter icons.
Moreover, the new UI features a revamped weather widget with built-in suggestions, cleaner looking notifications screen and circular icons. Notifications also include details such as text, but unseen external functions like reply or share.
QSlide feature is also found on the notifications shade that includes shortcuts for the dialler, contacts, calendar, calculator and message apps. Transparency is another element revealed by the UI revamp and it is obvious on the notification area and soft key buttons.
Overall, the cleaner and flatter user interface resembles vanilla from Android or Nexus devices which is probably lighter compared to the heavy-packed UI before.
LG G3 Features
Aside from the leaked user interface, LG G3 seems to feature a 2K or QHD display resolution after Digital Trends found out that the screenshot has a resolution size of 2560 x 1440 which confirms early reports of G3 having 2K display.
On top of those two new major changes, LG G3 offers a new feature called “Concierge.” Concierge is an advanced form of personalisation tool made by LG that will debut on G3 this year. The service collects information from various sources and observes your usage on the smartphone then recommend stuff based on the gathered data.
Concierge acts similarly with Google Now but it is beyond what Google offers for LG smartphone owners.
LG G3 and G2 Interfaces
If compared closely with G2, G3 offers less graphical icons, widgets and user interface. Weather widget on G2 has heavier elements, such as raindrops on the screen with a background of the city, while on G3; it only displays the temperature and status through text.
It goes the same with icons on the home screen as G2 features more colours and depth while G3 offers minimalistic design. For the notifications shade, G2 holds several icons and shortcuts with a dark background unlike on G3 that offers transparent background and fewer graphic on every icon.

With Iron Galaxy Studios working on the Killer Instinct title’s updates and expansion this time, the game that received a 74.34% approval rating from aggregate review sites Metacritic and GameRankings respectively, will soon have additional eight (8) new characters in its upcoming “Season 2″.
Earlier reports said that during a Play XBLA stream, Iron Galaxy Studios revealed its plans for Killer Instinct. Iron Galaxy already dropped the names of Cinder, T.J Combo, Riptor and Tusk while rumors said that Killer Instinct Season 2 will have Kim Wu, Maya, Eyedol, and Gargos as part of the cast.
Killer Instinct is a legendary fighting game franchise, which was first released as a free game demo with only one playable character, but has the option of additional fighters to be purchased individually. It comes with next-generation visuals, over-the-top action, a wild cast of combatants, and rocking reactive music that gamers wouldn’t want to miss.
“Choose from amongst a wild cast of combatants each with fluid animations, unique combat tactics, and flashy special attacks. Utilize an open-ended combo system to rack up huge combos as your opponent looks for openings to break you and turn the tides of battle,” Microsoft said in the official Xbox One site.
It could be remembered that just last month, Microsoft had Iron Galaxy to work on the future of Killer Instinct since the acquisition of Amazon of the original developer – the Double Helix.
Iron Galaxy is a Chicago based game development studio founded on August 15, 2008. Team members of the Iron Galaxy Studios are experienced industry veterans whose senior roles include gameography. Iron Galaxy Studios has become famous for developing GGPO-enabled legacy fighting game ports for Capcom. Iron Galaxy Studios had their first original property with Wreckateer which was released last 2012 followed by Divekick in 2013.
Included in their roster of projects are:
Borderlands 2 (PlayStation Vita port)
Killer Instinct (Season 2 content), and
Unannounced project for Epic Games

Suikoden II is one of the best JRPGs out there and now it’s possible that this spectacular game could finally be coming to the PlayStation Network as the ESRB has just rated Suikoden II for PlayStation 3.
ESRB stands for Entertainment Software Rating Board and their ratings are often the precursor to a re-release on Sony’s digital PlayStation Network where there are a number of classic PS1 and PS2 games that can be played on the PS3, PSP, and the Vita. A good example of this was earlier this month when an ESRB rating for Persona 4 unintentionally revealed that Atlus would be re-releasing their classic PS2 game for PSN.
Suikoden II was released by Konami for the original PlayStation back in 1999. It is the second installment of the Suikoden video game series and is widely considered to be one of the greatest role playing games ever made. The game features a wide array of characters with over 100 usable in combat and many more that are necessary for the plot to move forward.
The game takes place years after the events of the original Suikoden game. It centers on an invasion by the Kingdom of Highland on the City States of Jowston.
Although there are many more sequels after Suikoden II, players still think that the best game out of the whole franchise is Suikoden II. The sequels just don’t quite measure up so fans are very excited for this game to be available.
Konami released the first Suikoden on the PlayStation network a few years ago, but Suikoden II was nowhere to be seen. The game’s rarity has made for some pretty insane price spikes on eBay as well as other various sources. Playing Suikoden II legally today can be quite a challenge, even more so if you are in the EU continent. This is the reason why fans have been begging Konami for a re-release for years. With this piece of information, hopefully, that reality isn’t too far off.
Nothing is conclusive as of this time, but the possibility of having this game available soon on PSN is very likely as it follows how Persona 4 made its re-release.
