Here is a small update for They Do Not Die 2 along with its first Windows release. I’ve added blood and corpses. Right now it allows you to use JPG/PNG files, select a defined background, generate rectangles where you want. It works perfectly with images, but text functions are not ready to be released.

Jump, fly, and punch your way to victory in Hero City for the PS3. Hero City is a homebrew game developed by ThatOtherDev. The game is playable but suffers from graphical and performance problems. Moreover, your travel will be limited—no water and rooftops.
Note: The screenshot above is from the Wii version.
This is a PS3 port of my open world super hero game titled Hero City. It was originally made for Wii and features the Nintendomax mascot. There are some minor ways in which I’ve improved the game but there are some graphical and performance problems and the player is now constrained by the more simplified collision system that was previously only used for the enemies which unfortunately means that you can’t travel on top of buildings or water.

Neo Tanks is a screen saver/homebrew game released by ThatOtherDev. Use the left analog stick to move and R1 button to fire away.
Here is a update/port/remake/whatever of Neo Tanks. It was originally made over 9000 years ago for Windows, eventually remade for PS3 with the leaked SDK, later ported as my first 3D Wii release and is now back on PS3 via PSL1GHT.
It’s still pretty much a glorified screen saver and it actually performs worse then it’s first PS3 version made with the leaked SDK and it’s Wii counterpart (rendering polygons on screen seems to be rather slow with PSL1GHT).

In Winters End you take control of a snow person that moves around collecting snow.
It was originally rushed together for Wii as an entry in the Drunken Coders 2010 Winter Competition in which the judges stated that it “Would have been drastically improved with the addition of some enemies to thwart what was otherwise a so-simple-it-got-dull-fast game. Great work and very smooth accelerometer controls.” and ranked it as fifth place out of five entries.
Well this new PS3 port keeps that “so-simple-it-got-dull-fast” gameplay intact well removing the smooth motion controls along with the music and bringing that once flawless framerate down to choppy mess that could be compared to a slideshow.
So have fun with that!
I really think muny21 will appreciate this release.

Cherophobe is a first-person shooter homebrew game developed by ThatOtherDev, for the PS3. The enemies in this game are smiley faces that infinitely re-spawn. Don’t let them get too close, it’s bad for your health. Stay alive by collecting health packs.

Cherophobe is an original FPS in which you must defend yourself against the unending assault of smiley faces. For every Smiley face that you defeat you will be rewarded with ten points (the high score is automatically saved when you die). Your health drains away when a smiley face is too close to you and when you run out of health the game restarts. Scattered around the environment are health packs which will raise your health. There are also boxes containing additional ammo. Like the smiley faces the health packs and ammunition will infinity re spawn but always in random places that are out of view so you will need to continue wandering around the map to find them.
PS3 controls:
Left analog stick = Move
Right analog stick = Aim
R1 = Shoot
