The Jarred Mind 3 v0.9 release by ThatOtherDev

by KingX - on Jan 9th 2012 - No Comments

By popular demand, ThatOtherDev has brought us The Jarred Mind 3 v0.9. This is the third installment of the trilogy also known as Adventures of Jarred Mind. In this game, the banana is you, the rabbit is your friend, and zorbing zebra is the enemy. Always much appreciation for the works from ThatOtherDev.

By popular demand: I now present to you the shocking third installment in the episodic trilogy known as Adventures of the Jarred Mind! The banana ball is you! The chocolate rabbit is your friend! The zorbing zebra is your enemy!

So, yeah… I’m not really sure what else to say about this. It’s a gameish thing that runs on PS3. I’m curious of what people think of it. I expect that most people won’t like it. For the haters though I’ll probably be making and posting something else that’s simple but more of an actual game and less lolwut some time soon.

PS3 controls:
Left analog stick = Move
X Button = Jump

PS3 Remote Play – an enhancement patch

by KingX - on Jan 5th 2012 - 2 Comments

Here is an enhancement patch for the PS3 Remote Play–developed by mysis.  This software will allow PS3 users to use the Remote Play function on a computer.  This patch will enhance the software and lift some restrictions that were on the original Open Remote Play.

These patched files should enhance the Remote Play-Feature. Naughty Sony-Developers or propably some smartass manager f*cker thought official pc remote play should only be limited to 6x ps3 applications, namely:

NPEA00135 (VidZone)
BCES00096 (PlayTV)
NPEA90028
NPEA90029 (PlayTV too)
NPJA00001 (Mainichi Issho/Everyday Together)

A secret PS3 menu

by KingX - on Jan 4th 2012 - 1 Comment

So apparently there is a secret PS3 menu that has been tested on a OFW 4.0 system.  To access this menu, go to settings > system > system information.  Then, press simultaneously R1+L1+DPad Left+Square for a few seconds.   Now, release those buttons and immediately press the start button and keep it pressed.  There is also a video down below for this process.

So i tried it and couldn’t get it working, i told him this much, whilst asking him to stop trolling me, then he told me to check PS3 Dev Wiki and i found this:
