Inhumans TV Show Cast Update: Pro Wrestler Cody Rhodes To Play Black Bolt?

Marvel’s The Inhumans TV show brings a lot of excitement. It may have encountered a bumpy road but now, several fans will be happy to know that the television mini-series is set for a September 26th, 2017 release on ABC.

Inhumans TV show is also confirmed to premiere in IMAX theaters two weeks prior to Labor Day weekend. Another great news is that pro wrestler Cody Rhodes is allegedly set to play Black Bolt. Black Bolt is the leader of the Inhumans.

Previous reports claim that it is going to be Vin Diesel (Furious 7) who will play the said role. However, it seems the Hollywood superstar will no longer be involved in The Inhumans TV show.

Several fans think Marvel must choose an actor with a commanding presence to play Black Bolt. It seems Rhodes is the best person to wear the character’s shoes.

Cody Rhodes as Black Bolt

Rhodes is immensely popular in the world of wrestling. But even if you are not a wrestling fan, his name might be familiar to you. He already made an appearance on DC’s Arrow alongside lead actor Stephen Amell.

Those who have seen Arrow Season 5, Episode 3 would recall that he portrayed a drug dealer named Garret Runnels. His villain role has served as the first challenge for the new team Arrow in the episode titled A Matter of Trust.

The pro-wrestling superstar admitted that he is a fan of Black Bolt. In an interview, he said Black Bolt is one of the best characters in all comics. Rhodes also admitted that he is actively pursuing a couple of roles and that includes Black Bolt.

Reports claim that Inhumans will feature the royal family characters from Marvel Comics. For more Inhumans TV show news and updates, tune in only here at TheBitbag.
