An upcoming massive Forza Horizon 3 expansion has been detailed and dated. In fact, similar to what the earlier tease suggested, it actually includes heavy snow and ice to the series in the form of a new themed campaign.
The expansion named Blizzard Mountain includes 50 new events, as well as seven new cars. As a matter of fact, these new cars are said to be able to withstand even the harshest conditions. The new playground also introduces three new race types such as the following.
- Hill Climbs
The expansion is going to be free for Expansion Pass owners. On the other hand, people who own Forza Horizon 3 Ultimate Edition will land themselves a $10 USD discount.
Forza Horizon 3 New Cars
The expansion will include the Ford Focus RS-RX from Gymkhana 9, as well as the diesel-powered monster Nissan Titan Warrior. However, the expansion offers a lot more cars that represent the true rally cars such as the following.
- Lancia’s Legendary Delta S4 from the Group B era
- Stratos HF from Group 4-spec
- 2016 Subaru WRX STI VT15r
On the other hand, players who prefer to rampage through extreme weather condition can use a pair of trophy trucks such as the following.
- 1965 Abbati Racing Ford F-100
- RJ Anderson’s 2016 Polaris RZR Rockstar Energy Pro 2
Forza Horizon 3 New Achievements
The upcoming expansion will also include 28 new game Achievements for the players to earn.
Forza 3 Blizzard Mountain Additional Notes
The expansion will arrive on Xbox One on December 13, 2016. Blizzard Mountain is also available as a standalone purchase. However, Turn 10 Studios only listed the price for the Expansion Pass which costs $34.99.
In that case, the new Forza Horizon 3 expansion will cost $20 for those who don’t own an Expansion Pass that matches the price Turn 10 Studios listed.
