Final Fantasy XV Release Date News: Leaked Ending Featured Several Months Ago?

Final Fantasy 15 Pre-Order

The Final Fantasy XV releases date is today.  But before we indulge on the game itself, there are a few features you need to know about the game. Apparently, a recent preview of the game came out in Conan O’Brien’s Clueless Gamer segment. It revealed that after the quest to investigate the tremors, the boss battle will appear. This will literally lead you to a 72-hour battle before you can take down the boss.

Final Fantasy XV Boss: Adamantoise

The massive boss called the Adamantoise is a turtle with a massive mountain on his back. While Conan seemed to have leaked the time span of the game, a previous interview by Polygon with director Hajime Tabata revealed it was originally planned to be a 15-hour battle in real time.

Unfortunately, the boss battle can only be played after you complete the Final Fantasy XV game. Rather, a post game challenge that can lead you to Lucis. The gameplay suggests players to load  their saved game and approach the rest stop to request for Umbra. Umbra will teleport the player to Lucis. Players who want to fight the Adamantoise in Final Fantasy XV can go directly to the diner in Hammerhead and speak to Takka. However, YouTube PowerPyx said that it’s not actually 72-hours of gameplay. He also said “Unless you go afk [away from keyboard] for 71 hours, there’s no way the fight will last that long.

The Final Fantasy XV game is described as “Set in the world of Eos, Final Fantasy XV casts players as Crown Prince Noctis and his comrades as they embark on an epic journey of brotherhood, love and despair and unravel Noctis’s destiny in his battle against the warmongering Niflheim empire. Featuring a captivating cast of characters, breath-taking visuals, open world exploration and thrilling action-packed combat, Final Fantasy XV is the ultimate Final Fantasy experience for fans and newcomers alike.”
