It?s been a decade, but now the latest Final Fantasy title is already in our hands. Most critics are?impressed with what Square Enix has done with the latest entry, and its features only make the game better. One core gameplay feature is the exploring the huge world of Eos. In Final Fantasy 15, players can travel on-foot and on the Regalia. It wouldn?t be a Final Fantasy game if there aren?t any Chocobos in it, and the series mainstays do make an appearance in the game.
Players might feel a bit lost when looking for a Chocobo in Final Fantasy 15. Rent-A-Bird locations are at the beginning of the game. However, players won?t have access to actual Chocobos just yet. This means that players will need to progress the story a little so that the Chocobos become available.
Despite having access to a few Rent-A-Bird locations in the game, players will discover that trying to get a Chocobo very early will prompt a message that states that the feature is not yet available. This is likely because players have yet to do the Friends of a Feather side quest at Wiz Chocobo Outpost.
The Friends of a Feather side quest becomes available once the player clears the blockade and proceeds to the next area in the main story. Players will need to reach Chapter 3 to access Chocobos.
The Friends of a Feather quest requires the player to kill a Behemoth. It?s one durable enemy, so players should expect quite a battle. Once done, players will need to go back to Wiz Chocobo Outpost. Chocobos can be rented for a cheap 50 Gil per day, and this is a faster form of travelling than walking. It?s also more useful as the Regalia can?t travel off-road.
