Lady Gaga Comes To Rock Band Next Week
What can I say, other than, It’s about time? My RB friends live and die by the exclusives that make the Rock Band experience different from other band games. I can see everyone with the game downloading this new music pack when it debuts.
The people that I know, who play RB on an almost daily practice, love to download music for the game, regardless of genre. I personally can’t get into the music games nor do I have the space for a ton of plastic instruments. Hit up the break to get prices, release dates and other Rock Band related news.
Halo Reach vs Killzone 3

Killzone 3 seems to be the game Sony, and PS3 owners have under the radar. Quite rumblings are surfacing about the titles emergence into gaming’s most action packed gaming years. 2010 has already seen some must have titles start to release, several being pushed back from early winter to early spring. If the rumors are true, and Killzone 3 to appear than the game will be in the line of fire of Microsofts Halo Reach title. Wait, maybe it’s the other way around? Think about it, as vaunted as Halo Reach may seem to-be Killzone 2 proved that Sony, and Guerrilla games can bring quality FPS games to a console. A console that is not the Xbox 360, and doesn’t have, perhaps need Halo. Killzone 2 was a graphical bonanza that showed how powerful the PS3 is in the right hands. Granted the game was in development for almost five years. We have to factor in that Gurriella was creating the game engine that powers Killzone 2 is a diversified one. This diversity would guarantee that any type of game can be made using the engine, and the power of the PS3, with room to grow. Since development of Killzone 2 was done in December 2008, and the game released in early 2009. It would stand to reason with its success, and accomplishments with critics Sony would want an encore. New Mass Effect 2 DLC – Firewalker Pack

With the first Mass Effect game, Bioware promised an abundance of DLC. What fans got instead were DLC that were few in number horribly spaced. It is sad too because for a game like Mass Effect, the potential for great DLC integration is endless. With Mass Effect 2, I guess the message got through. There has already been more DLC than in the first game and Bioware is showing no signs of slowing down. They have announced The Firewalker Pack. Here is the good word straight from Bioware: Read the rest of this entry »
New Lost Planet 2 Pre-Order Items, Splitscreen, and Wesker confirmed

GameStop just keeps getting exclusive content in games. Lost Planet 2 will be no different. Apparently, GameStop will be giving customers who pre-order Lost Planet 2 from them two exclusive multiplayer battle maps. Said maps will focus on the underwater battle dynamic. People who are not found of GameStop and want this game my have to do business with the “enemy”.
In better news, the customizable Wesker skin and revolver will be available to everyone who plays Lost Planet 2 regardless of where they purchase the game from. Also, splitscreen support has been confirmed. I think this is a good move on Capcom’s part as a lot of games that have multiplayer are neglecting splitscreen using online gaming as an excuse.

Today I give you word from Microsoft on what would appear to be flying under the gaming radar since most of the information is not 100% related to gaming, but the little bit of information that I’ve read is (IMO) something to get very excited about.
