Retro News: New Dreamcast racer hits this month
Ever wonder how much love their is for any given console? What about love for a classic and discontinued console from the 1990s? For many retro-ists, the SEGA Dreamcast holds a strong and passionate following, considering it’s relatively short life span here in the U.S.
Altered Beast arrives to POWER UP you retro needs
One of my first “ever” 16-Bit console titles I played was Altered Beast for the Sega Genesis. It was in 1989 when the Genesis launched with the bundled title and from the very beginning I was taken a back by the “shitty” but awesome voice audio in the game. From the beginning level your told to “Rise from your grave” to the “POWER UP” voice every time you picked up an energy orb for your transformation upgrades. Altered Beast will always hold a special place in my heart.

Underrated, But Not Forgotten
I wanted to take a bit of your time to introduce myself. If you visited the various gaming sites out there you’ve probably seen some of my comments, but most of the Bitbag audience probably knows me from my random comments during the chat that takes place as the Warzone is being recorded. For the most part I play fighting games and do more than my fair share of retro gaming. For my first post I thought I would talk about SNK/NEO GEO since KOFXII is coming out soon. Video Game Warzone #46: 1080p Native And Why It Shouldn’t Matter

On today’s show we once again tackle the native 1080p argument. I stress my points as to why it shouldn’t matter to gamers if it’s native or upscaled. Preference is one thing, but if resolution isn’t stopping us from purchasing certain games, does it really matter? Also on this show:
* How to achieve N4G happiness (Torrence)
* Red Faction impressions (Torrence)
* Brink impressions (Hiphopgamer & Torrence)
* Quantum impressions (Hiphopgamer)
* G4TV possibly coming off the air (Hiphopgamer)
* And much much more…
