PSP gets Hero of Sparta on October 1st
I have been playing Hero of Sparta for some time now on my iPhone. The game IMO is one of the show pieces for the iPhone/iPod Touch platform. The game is truly ground breaking when you think of what mobile phone gaming was just a few years ago. Then comes Hero of Sparta for the iPhone/iPod Touch. From the look on my friends’ faces when ever I pull out my phone and ask them to try this game just to ask them what they thought of the game, “every time” I got an I can’t believe this is a game on a phone.

Video Game Warzone #53

On today’s show Torrence goes on a rampage against the media on how they are writing opinion based articles to get an abundance of low quality traffic. It seems that even professional blogs are creating damage control or hate articles to get fanboys riled up to boost their traffic rating. It’s pretty sad that the idea of investigative journalism is an afterthought in the day of digital reporting. Torrence targets Playstationlifestyle.net, a site that he openly supports and totalvideogames.com. Also on this show:
* Rage and the PS3 (Torrence)
* KOF12 (Torrence)
* Comic-Con (Candid Anthony)
* Nintendo making games that don’t work (Erl Fly)
* PC gaming will be over when the next Playstation and Xbox arrive (Hiphopgamer)

Video Game Warzone #51:No More Doom And Gloom For Sony

On this episode we talk about the nonsense that happens every month when NPD results drop. It seems that everyone is sitting by their computer waiting to tell the world how Sony is doing terrible, that they need a price drop and why they aren’t selling as much as Xbox 360. It’s old and it surely isn’t journalism. It’s hard to believe how we, as gamers, are so focused on sales this generation. If it’s not sales it’s game resolutions and minor graphic whoring. For the last time, Sony isn’t going anywhere so please stop using NPD for flamebait against them. Also on this show:
* The real reason why games like Bayonetta and Bioshock 2 got pushed back. (Torrence)
* Remember Stephen Totilo’s rant on Microsoft not having any games this year? What does he have to say now? (Torrence)
* Dragon Age sex. (Chad)
* Madden finally surpassing 2K5 (Hiphopgamer)
* Kratos now a DC comics character (Hiphopgamer)
* And much much more…
