Netflix goes the PS3 route, too!?
It’s now official, everyone is posting this as I do the same. Here is a straight to the point post from Netflix’s own Official Blog.
Netflix coming to PS3
Greg Peters, VP of product development at Netflix, here. We’ve got good news for PS3 owners! Soon you will be able to instantly watch movies and TV episodes on your TV via your PS3. Today we announced that the PS3 is about to join the ever growing list of Netflix ready devices that allow streaming of movies and TV episodes whenever you want, as much as you want, all included in your unlimited Netflix subscription. The PS3 is a terrific Blu-ray and gaming platform that will get even better in November when we start streaming thousands of movies and TV episodes!
We all knew it was coming but we just didn’t know how long Xbox was going to be able to hold on to it’s exclusive rights. My question is how good would the service compare to the 360’s great party and chat features that in a few words make the service worth it. I would love to have another device with the Netflix service since I already stream HD through my Xbox and on my Laptop when on the road. One thing I know the only way I am going to use Netflix on my PS3 is “if” and only “if” the PS3 get’s 4 or more Party Chat and the ability to stream in HD over it’s “rank” 802.11b/g wireless built in, give me wireless A or N.
Bottom line this is a good thing for Netflix more than anyone else, since all I heard before this announcement, was how much SONY boys didn’t want or care about Netflix so just like every other things SONY didn’t want, it switches to we have that to.
If you want to reserve your free PS3 instant streaming Netflix disk click here. This is only if you have a Netflix account. Won’t be of any use to non Netflix subscribers.

“Overwhelming demand for Demon’s Souls”, more copies on the way.
I’ve been playing a whole lot of Demon’s Souls since it launched last week and I agree with all of the reviewers out there. This game is unforgivingly hard as hell. That being said, the game is so unique in gameplay and it’s online connectivity, you would be short changing your self if you own a PS3 and/or your a western role playing gamer.
Modern Warfare 2: Graphics Vs Gameplay
Win a copy of Modern Warfare 2 from Playfire
Now granted I really don’t like to enlist in promotions for free games or like to sign up for shit in order to get “a chance” to win a game. This promotion is safe secure and does not spam you with crap you don’t want.
Playfire is now running a Modern Warfare 2 contest where all you need to do is answer a short ten question quiz. The prize is massive and only takes like 3 minutes to complete. The prize is this…
Naughty Dog Confirms Cross Game Chat In Next PS3 Firmware
This was a post, which has since been edited, on the Playstation Blog from a Naughty Dog employee. If what he says is true, we will FINALLY have Cross Game Chat on PSN. What a glorious day it will be and couldn’t come soon enough as MW2 is next month. Here’s the image courtesy of Playstationlifestyle.net. The original post has been edited and text deleted.

Operation Flashpoint 2: Hi-Res screen comparison PS3-360
With all of the comparisons on the net and with reviews not really telling the whole truth about the game. I went on a mission to really see if the difference between the two were really that much different or was it just fanboys flaming the Internets? I want you to check out the Videogames Zone website and see the full high resolution screen comparisons for the PS3 and Xbox 360 version of the game.
Here’s a sample clip:

Splatterhouse screens for your bloody pleasure
Splatterhouse brings back many fond “RETRO” memories for me. I know I’m just a sucker for classic remakes, but ONLY and I stress ONLY, if the remake is more on a visual side and does not take away from what made the classic a memorable play through.
