I recently had a chance to conduct an interview with the fine folks from Runic Games. Looks like it’s that time again for some BETA testing goodness, but this time the game that needs a few good men (or women) is Star Wars: The Old Republic. It seems to me like a lifetime for me, waiting around for an online MMO within the Old Republic time line. Gearbox Software’s Borderlands (PC, 360, PS3) drops October 20th (26th for PC) and offers FPS meets RPG gameplay (ala Fallout 3) as well as 4-player co-op. If you haven’t heard of this title by now then I urge you to check out the trailer above and familiarize yourself with what is only the first game in a planned franchise.

What’s going on PC Gamers as you all know (or might not know) this week brings Aion the MMORPG graphical masterpiece from NC Soft. Some news regarding the upcoming PC title Torchlight by Runic Games was released at PAX today. Turns out the single player game will be released on Oct. 27th as a downloadable game for $19.99, with an MMO set in the same world to be released at a later time.
