Hunted: The Demon’s Forge Screens
Hunted: The Demon’s Forge brings the dark ages back to our gaming platforms in the form of a beautifully rendered Unreal Engine 3, action adventure that allows for melee and cover based tactics. The game looks to change up the norm, when talking about the hack n’ slash genre. This is the first I’ve heard of this title being produced by inXile Entertainment and published by Bethesda Softworks. You can be I’ll be keeping my ear to the net for more information.

Two For One FINAL FIGHT: DOUBLE IMPACT Coming In April 2010
I can’t believe I let this get by me, I’m a huge Arcade Final Fight fan. I remember dumping a ton of quarters in the arcades till I beat the game. Final Fight has been ported to other home consoles but never really captured the true arcade feel or graphics. Today with our home consoles able to pump out just about any arcade game ever created and with the ability to click and download, we finally get the true console port of the classic Final Fight Arcade game. More information on the second game that you’ll get bundled with Final Fight after the break.

Xaviant Licenses CryENGINE For Multi-Platform Game
Announcement via News letter from Crytek. Being a big time computer games player, can’t wait to see what’ll be possible on the consoles using this new high end engine.
I’ve seen many videos show casing the CryEngine on the Playstation 3 and the Xbox 360 but nothing on a console running in real time, not just watching a compressed video online. The truth will only be realized (to me) when I get to play a game on a console while running the engine.
With very high hopes for Crytek and this new engine, I personally feel like the Unreal Engine 3 is starting to look dated and to be quite honest, not all of the games that use the UE3 look that great. Here’s a quote from Xaviant LLC:
“Our strategy at Xaviant is to build games that can only come from the minds of gamers, which means we have to focus on our core discipline: game design. When we partnered with Crytek, we had high expectations for their product. However we had not anticipated the extent to which they exceeded those expectations. The rapid iteration and the number of tools we get ‘out of the box’ are remarkable. In just six short weeks we were able to create a ‘proof of concept’ demo with an incredibly high level of detail. And with the immense help of Crytek’s expert support, we even met the truly tough GDC deadline. In my opinion, anyone serious about making a game should check out CryEngine.” states Michael McMain, CEO of Xaviant LLC.

Aaron Greenberg Comments On Natal Versus MOVE

After the official announcement of MOVE by Sony and the results of NPD, I had to see what was on Aaron Greenberg’s mind. So I asked him about Sony’s new MOVE system, what pushed 360 sales for February and the thoughts of seeing God Of War 3 quality graphics on the 360. Here’s his response: Read the rest of this entry »
PS Move A Serious Threat To PC Gaming, Goodbye Mouse
PC Gaming always had the cutting edge technology thanks to the consistent upgrades that can be made yearly on that platform.
Well Sony has a new upgrade themselves and it’s called the Playstation Move and with this level of accuracy even in hardcore titles, the myth of the mouse being better than the controller seems to have now finally come to an end.
Check out the great detail in this VIDICLE
