Bleeps and Bloops: One of Gaming’s Greatest Virtues
Music. Music is the art form of sound which is enjoyed throughout the entire world, and perhaps even beyond it. The true definition of what constitutes music has been debated for years and years with no resolve, but I personally consider it to be any audible sound which results in the enjoyment of a listener. This means that the definition of music changes depending on the person. While what one considers music changes from person to person, few would argue the fact that gaming has brought us some truly amazing soundtracks year after year. From Kondo to Uematsu, from O’Donnell to Tallarico, gaming has been blessed with a number of outstanding composers. Why is it then, that it still remains one of the most overlooked features in a game? How often do you hear “Yeah I thought the bgm on the 5th stage was some of the best stuff I’ve heard in years” in casual gaming conversation, compared to “The detail in that level was outstanding, very easy on the eyes”? Beyonce Is A Real Class Act
Non-Video Game or Tech related, but I think everyone should see how much of a class act Beyonce is.
The iTunes Store Has Deleted Songs Off My Hard Drive
I’ve been using iTunes for years. Once it was available for Windows I jumped at the opportunity to use it. I loved the interface and the organizational tools. It gave me a reason to start purchasing music online with the iTunes store, which was a welcomed alternative to buying plastic CD’s. After realizing that the iTunes store deleted songs that I owned off of my hard drive, I left Apple for my new love, Amazon.com. Read the rest of this entry »

Remy Ma Should Have Played GTAIV Instead
It looks like another hip hopper will be spending time behind bars. Today the beautiful Remy Ma was sentenced to an 8 year prison term for shooting her friend twice in the belly. The crazy thing is that she wasn’t sentenced for attempted murder. They were originally going to give her 25yrs but instead she only got 8. The judge stated that she has a history and didn’t budge on this sentence after pleas from the Nubian Queen. Review: AirDrives
As much as I love iPods, I simply cannot stand earbuds. The only other option up until now was regular headphones, which are just too big and clunky to wear. My issue with earbuds is that they always fall out of my ears. My ears weren’t designed for earbuds. I’m constantly adjusting them or pushing them back in so they don’t fall out.
