Review: Wet
WET is a video game created by Artificial Mind and Movement, and published by Bethesda Softworks. In WET, you play as Rubi Malone. Rubi is a female gun for hire. She is acrobatic and she not only uses pistols, but she can dual whiled shotguns and sub machine guns and crossbows. Finally to rid Rubi of any enemies close by, she can use her katana to slice through any lackey that gets in her way. Now Rubi’s story in WET starts off on a mission to steal and deliver a human heart to Trevor Ackers. And after this first mission you will see what drives Rubi down the long road to revenge. PLAYXPERT ANNOUNCES LATEST SUPPORT FOR WINDOWS® 7 AND DIRECTX® 10 (Impressions)
I just received an update from PlayXpert and I like what I see. PC gamers are always having to sign up or create multiple accounts to game with their buddies online when playing a PC game. The time is upon us for a do it all, connect it all and voice for all software application for Windows PC gamers. Rejoice, it’s PlayXpert time. I’ve been testing out this product for a while now and to be quite honest, most of the time it crashed or didn’t work at all until now.
Review: Guitar Hero 5

Since it’s inception in 2005 Guitar Hero has become a household name, appearing in movies, television, and causing the creation of a number of music sim clones trying to cash in on it’s success. Neversoft changed the franchise from guitar-centric to supporting an entire band with the release of Guitar Hero: World Tour in 2008, but many thought that it was an inferior experience compared to that of music sim rival Rock Band. Is the Guitar Hero franchise done for, or can it be saved? Guitar Hero 5, the newest addition, might just be exactly what the doctor ordered. Read the rest of this entry »
Review: Gran Turismo PSP

Gran Turismo has finally arrived on the PSP. I could swear this title was announced when the PSP was first shown at E3. In fact, they had a playable demo on display. It’s been such a long time and it’s great to finally see the fruits of PD’s labor. GT PSP is a shining example of what you can do with the proper time and dedication put into a game. Does it compare to the rest of the series? Read the rest of this entry »
Batman: Arkham Asylum Review

Ever since I had the chance to experience the demo, I knew that Rocksteady had something potentially outstanding on their hands. We were shown some excellent combat, stealth, and visuals, as well as the opening to what could possibly be one of the best Batman storylines to date. However, could Rocksteady’s finished product be as good as what we had been shown? You can form your own opinion, but I was miles and miles away from disappointed. Read the rest of this entry »
Review: King Of Fighters 12

King Of Fighters has always been the ‘other’ definitive 2D fighter. SNK gained much acclaim from this series and it proved that they were taking the genre seriously. SNK promised that the 12 entry into the series would take the game into the next generation. Have they delivered what was promised? Read the rest of this entry »
Review: Fuel
Fuel was hailed as having the biggest racing sandbox in gaming. It is a whopping 14,000 km squared arena. You can race anywhere you want but getting to the finish line is still the ultimate goal. Has Codemasters given us another racing gem or does Fuel run out of fuel in comparison to the competition? Read the rest of this entry »
Review: Secret Agent Clank

Now before starting this review I should let you all know that this game is a port. It was originally released as a PSP game last summer, which I have not played. Therefore, I won’t be reviewing the game as a port, but as if it had originally been released on the PS2. Read the rest of this entry »
Review: Demon’s Souls

Ever had one of those days where you walk into a castle infested with demonic warriors and getting killed within moments of entering said castle? You do? Well, expect a lot of that in Demon’s Souls for the PS3. Not only will it be demonic warriors, but also dragons, slugs, fire beetles, an insane king, and most likely of all, Red Eyes. Oh yes, Red Eyes will always be there to say hello to your warm lower orifice with his cold spear.

Review: The Conduit

By now, I’m sure many of you have read various reviews on this game. I see the word ‘generic’ used a lot to describe the experience The Conduit offers. While I can agree with that to a certain point, couldn’t it be said most games are ‘generic’? Finally, fellow Wii owners, we get an awesome first person shooter that easily hangs with Metroid Prime 3, king and queen of the Wii FPS genre (not that there are many other contenders to the throne). Review: Dynasty Warriors 6: Empires

I can remember when Dynasty Warriors was a 3D fighter for the PS1. Who would have known that the franchise would last so long. In taking DW from a fighter to a massive mob bash fest, Koei has ultimately created their own genre. Several other games like Samurai Warriors and DW Gundam keep the genre alive. Once must ask the simple question though, does DW6 take the genre to next gen heights? Read the rest of this entry »
