Here’s one of the CES videos I didn’t post last week. Since this is the last week for coverage, I thought I’d drop them on you.

We spoke with Activision’s Steve Fuller at the CES about Prototype from Radical games. They gave tons of details on the new Prototype game including Dolby Digital 7.1 on Xbox 360, game play mechanics and release dates. The game is said to take 12-15 hours to complete if you fly through it but full completion should take 25-30 hours. Enjoy the audio clip from the Q&A!

It was Saturday, around mid afternoon that we went to visit the iZ3D booth for their iZ3D monitors. Once we stepped in there, I felt that they had taken visual entertainment to a whole new level. If you’ve been following my tweets, you’ll know that I think Dark Void is one of the best offerings of this generation. It basically takes many gameplay concepts and allows you to use all of them anytime that you want. There’s everything from 3rd person shooting to Iron Man like air combat. You can jump, climb, free fly, control vehicles and engage in melee combat. All of my interest in this game is based solely on gameplay. The graphics are outstanding, but it’s not what draws you into the game. These videos don’t even do the game justice. I’ve put this game on the top of my purchase list for 2009. Yep, you read it right. Sony is bringing out the big guns tomorrow at the CES. They will be showcasing Infamous, Killzone 2 and Resistance Retribution at the Sony Theater. Sucker Punch will be on hand doing interviews and yours truly has asked for a front seat. Expect to see some new footage of Infamous right here! Stay tuned for more CES craziness!

This new Nextar projector is small enough to fit in the palm of your hand. It projects a 640X480 image up to 20″ wide. It runs at 7 to 12 ansi lumens and accepts SD cards.
