HD-DVD Still Moving Forward


I spoke with some representatives at Toshiba about the current status of HD-DVD. I expressed my discontent with the format war and then asked them what their plans were for the format. They basically stated that they are going to continue supporting and marketing the HD-DVD product. Paramount and Universal have no plans on switching to Blu-Ray at this time. Go To CES In Style Courtesy Of Microsoft


Got to cruise to the CES today in the Gamerscore Community Limo. They offered treats, great conversation and smooth sailing. We talked about everything in gaming from classics to new games that haven’t been released. I finally got to put a face to some of the community heads. I met with Chris Paladino, John Porcaro and Tony Hynes, the Senior Online Community Manager. I also got to meet with Spencer Yip from Silicon Era. Right now I’m off to Microsoft’s Press booth and then a trip over to Sony theater for the Little Big Planet shindig. Ya dig?

It’s The Mandala!


Now you can drum it up via USB with this digital drum called a Mandala. You can use thousands of samples to make this drum sound like anything from a Zildjian to a steel drum.
