A developer at Infinity Ward has reportedly leaked the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare DLC pack release date. A tweet by associate project director Lee Ross revealed that the first DLC pack is coming on PlayStation 4 first on January 31. Ross later deleted the tweet, but a screenshot of the said tweet has already spread on the internet.
When Ross was asked about the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare DLC release, he said, “January 31st, first on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4 Pro. Infinity Ward has not yet released any official statement about the arrival of the DLC pack, but the developer inadvertently said what fans wanted to hear. As the tweet no longer exists, fans are speculating it the Tweet was removed because he was reprimanded by Activision or the information was erroneous.
All the Season Pass holders will get access to the upcoming DLC pack. According to the developer, there will be four Call of Duty Infinite Warfare DLC packs. Additionally, the DLC packs will be bringing multiplayer maps and zombies maps. Earlier this year, Activision confirmed that the DLC packs for Infinite Warfare will be delivered on PlayStation 4 first before coming to the Xbox One and PC. This is because of a deal between Sony and Activision.
As far as the developer’s tweet is concerned, the mention of the early arrival on PS4 is perfectly accurate. Regarding the release date, there are chances that the developer was not informed and mistakenly suggested the date. Or it is also possible that Activision doesn’t want to reveal things soon, as it’s still November and the leaked release date is too far.
Activision will be attending PlayStation Experience 2016 this year. It’s possible that the Call of Duty Infinite Warfare DLC will be shown during the event.
