Retailers are certainly not waiting long to begin to get customers lined up to purchase the newly hot Nintendo Wii U console.
The Nintendo Wii U launched back in November 2012 but has had a rough go of it for its first 10 months on the market.
Things are looking up for Nintendo though as they have announced a $50 price cut for the Nintendo Wii U, that is going to go into effect on September 20th.
The September 20th price cut will be accompanied by a very special edition of the Nintendo Wii U.
The Nintendo Wii U Zelda Wind Waker HD bundle is going to go on sale on September 20th, and it is now up for pre-order on retailers sites.
GameStop is taking pre-orders on the Nintendo Wii U Zelda special edition, for the price point of $299.
This is a highly desirable $299 package as it will include The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD, along with the Nintendo Wii U Deluxe edition, a custom black 32GB console that will have the GamePad decorated with gold Zelda art all around it.
This is going to garner a lot of interest for Nintendo as they begin to try and sell as many units as possible prior to the launch of the Sony PS4 and Xbox One.
The Legend of Zelda Wind Waker HD will release on the Nintendo eShop on the Wii U that same day, September 20th. The retail release will take place on October 4th.
If gamers have any interest at all in the special edition Zelda Wii U, it is highly-advised that you pre-order, as these will not last long.
