There has been a lot of talk as of late in regards to the next big update to Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition. Now the developer 4J Studios has come out to talk about what we can expect in the next release.
What has been confirmed according to an announcement from 4J Studios is that there is going to be a great deal of texture customization details in the upcoming TU12 patch that is going to hit the Xbox 360 version of the popular game.
This means that when the new update releases, the game is going to be fully compatible with texture packs.
This is going to open things up a great deal for gamers, as they are going to be able to edit everything from textures on characters, to environment textures, and so on.
The other yet to be confirmed rumor for the update is that there are going to be cats included as well, with jungle biomes making there way onto the scene.
The big question now though is when is this update actually going to release?
4J Studios has stated that this update is going to require big changes to the software, meaning that it is not an easy update to build. Chances are that we will end up seeing this at some time in Q4 2013, but hopefully it arrives sooner for the sake of gamers out there.
