Activision cannot seem to make up its mind in regards to the status or even the existence of a Nintendo Wii U version of their upcoming release, Call of Duty Ghosts.
Call of Duty Ghosts is slates to be one of the top third-party releases this upcoming holiday shopping season. In terms of the home console releases, the game is slates for the Xbox 360, the PS3, Xbox One, as well as the PS4.
During E3, Call of Duty Ghosts executive producer Mark Rubin confirmed that the game would be releases on the Nintendo Wii U.
It seems now though that they have either changed their mind, or Rubin is simply not speaking all of the truth.
Mark Rubin had an interview that went live on GameIndustry.biz just today in which he states that he does not know whether or not Call of Duty Ghosts would be hitting the Wii U.
This is very confusing to say the very least and we have reached out to the Activision public relations department for clarification. They would not give us any comment in regards to the status of the game as to whether or not it would be released on the Nintendo Wii U console.
We will have to wait and see how everything unfolds in the months ahead as to whether or not we will see Ghosts on the Wii U.
