Nintendo is picking up some major steam the further that E3 2013 rolls on, as Activision has confirmed that a major release would be making its way onto the next-generation Nintendo Wii U this upcoming November.
Activision has come out during E3 2013 and confirmed that Call of Duty Ghosts is going to be getting a release on the Nintendo Wii U.
What Activision has confirmed is that the game is indeed in development for the Nintendo Wii U, but that there would be some special factors added into the release.
The expectation is that Call of Duty Ghosts on the Nintendo Wii U is going to be looped in with the releases on the Sony PS4 and Xbox One.
This means that Call of Duty Ghosts is going to hit the Xbox 360 and Sony PS3 first on November 5th.
From there, the release is then going to make its way onto the Xbox One and the Sony PS4 day and date with the launch of those two respective consoles.
The Wii U version of Call of Duty Ghosts is going to be timed to go right along with the releases of the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game. This means that you can expect the Wii U version of Call of Duty Ghosts to release right around the launch dates of the Microsoft and Sony next-gen consoles.
This is fantastic news for Nintendo Wii U owners, who can now add Call of Duty Ghosts to Assassin’s Creed IV and Watch Dogs to their list of top-notch third-party software for this holiday shopping season.
