Minecraft has been the king of the sandbox in terms of giving gamers the freedom to do whatever they wish in a massively open world. Things may be changing though as developer Wollay continues to make a lot of noise as they push towards the release of the upcoming RPG, Cube World.
Cube World has been in development from Wollay for quite some time now, and more information has started to come out about the game.
There is a lot that is going to be in Cube World, which appear to be a mix between what is offered in terms of the open nature of Minecraft, sprinkled with a lot of RPG elements.
This is going to include a highly expansive map with many different lands and levels. On top of that, there are going to be several different classes of characters.
The weapons that have been announced thus far for the RPG include crossbows, boomerangs, staffs, and so on. The classes confirmed to date are the Warrior class, Rogue class, Spirit Mage class, and Ranger class.
This online RPG is going to be making a splash sooner rather than later as it seems as though more videos and other information are coming out each and every day.
The most recent video that was released by the developer just this week can be found on the developer blog over at wollay.blogspot.com.
So with all of the different features being added to this expansive online RPG, the question is, can it beat Minecraft?
Only time is going to tell if Minecraft gamers are going to be lured to this new adventure. One thing that is clear though is that games cannot continue to be the king of the mountain forever. The question though is whether or not Cube World is going to be the game that conquers the throne.
