GTA V – PS3 VS Xbox 360

We are still months away from having GTA V in our hands but competition is heating up extensively.

Looking at the latest GTA V trailers, it’s boasting some impressive graphical abilities however will these be too advanced for both the Xbox and PS3? Next in line is the PS4. We’ve already scooped that we think it will only be released on the PS4 but lets take a look at both consoles, PS3 VS Xbox 360.

Questions are being raised about which console the Rockstar crew favour and we think the latest statement by Dan Houser, they prefer the “larger audience on PS3″ as the PS4 being the likely choice.

“Some other people talk about the limitations of the [current] hardware. We don’t feel there are that many limitations. We feel we can do some very impressive stuff and do it for a large audience. This felt like the way… There’ll be a much larger audience on PS3 than there will be on PS4. At a creative level, which is the most important for us, we could say everything we wanted to say and do everything we wanted to do on these machines. We didn’t sit there saying, “We’d like to do this in the game, but we can’t.” There’s plenty of power in these machines.”

At the NYC demo event last year, Rockstar played the game on PlayStation 3 console ahead of Xbox 360 and if anyone remember Eight Days, which was first announced as a PS3 exclusive, there is a report that one of the animators is currently working on GTA V.

We think ahead of the PS4 release it will be only time that will tell us what console will be favored however if there is any type of deal between Rockstar and Sony we believe the PS4 or PS3 is the likely option.
