This week, Omerta: City of Gangsters, Company of Heroes 2 and Antichamber make their debut in an otherwise slow week for new releases.
Omerta: Developed by Haemimont Games for the PC and Xbox 360, a management simulation game with turn-based combat set in 1920′s Atlantic City where you recruit members to start your own gang and slowly take over territories from other rival gangsters.
Company of Heroes 2: Developed by Relic Entertainment, the sequel to the critically acclaimed real-time strategy game, Company of Heroes 2 is set in World War 2 and will be focused on the Eastern Front. A new engine promises technical improvements such as the TrueSight line of sight system and a new dynamic weather-simulating technology named ColdTech.
Antichamber: Developed by Alexander Bruce for the PC, it’s an indie first-person puzzle-platformer or better described in the press kit as a “mind-bending psychological exploration game, set within an Escher-like world.” It features stunning visuals and has already collected numerous awards for it’s technical achievements and design.
