Woman stabbed to death by katana, Final Fantasy gets blamed

Woman stabbed to death by katana, Final Fantasy gets blamed

A 31-year old woman was murdered in Munich and Square Enix’s mega RPG franchise is getting the blame.

Katrina.M was stabbed to death 18 times with a katana with the blame going to Final Fantasy. Seeing all those chocobos might have triggered a violent rage in the young man. Except they’re not blaming the right game.

German press like TZ has posted photos of the alleged killer believed to be either 18 or 19 “cosplaying as his favorite Final Fantasy character.”

But as you can see in the image, he seems to be cosplaying Neku from The World Ends With You. I’ve played TWEWY and it didn’t make me want to murder anyone.

Again, lets blame video games because it’s way easier. If you want to blame a video game, at least get your facts right.

  1. Looks a lot more like AC Cloud to me

  2. Seaside Poet says:

All the libs will want to ban swords now so their path to immortality won’t get ruined(sarcasm)Oh that’s right… They only care when it’s more than 1…. If its just 1 it’s ok cause libs like people to take one for the team

  3. Wow, look, the media is blaming video games for violence again. *yawns* I’m sure Cloud and/or Neku and friends had nothing to do with this killer cosplayer. Haters are probably all jumping on the fact a katana was used as the weapon, similar to a particular scene well known in Final Fantasy lore. I hope Aerith- I mean, Katrina- rests in peace anyway.
