Week in Gaming [Jan 14-20 2013]: DmC: Devil May Cry, Bioshock Ultimate

Things are starting to pick up after a few weeks of really dull releases. Ninja Theory’s reboot, DmC: Devil May Cry and we will see if the criticisms it’s been getting have been warranted. Also, Bioshock Ultimate Rapture Edition with both Bioshock games and DLCs all in one package is hitting store shelves.

DmC: Developed by Ninja Theory (Enslaved, Heavenly Sword) for the PS3 and Xbox 360 (PC version will be released in a couple of week’s time), it’s a reboot of Capcom’s beloved Devil May Cry series. Set in an alternate reality from the original series, it has all the elements that people fell in love with from the original with a few added differences like modifiers to Dante’s attacks.

Bioshock Ultimate Rapture Edition: Never played the first or second Bioshock? What’s the matter with you? Anyways, now you can experience both games in one convenient package complete with all the DLCs. It’s available for the Xbox 360 and PS3.

Notable mentions:

  • Wizardry Online (PC)
  • Angry Birds Trilogy (PSN)
  • Borderlands 2: Sir Hammerlock’s Big Game Hunt (PC DLC)
  • Far Cry 3 – High Tides (PS3 DLC)
