Week in Gaming [Jan 7-13 2013]: Anarchy Reigns, Angelica Weaver

It’s a new year and after a short hiatus, our ‘Week in Gaming’ section is back. It’s only the beginning of the year so not much this week with only Anarchy Reigns being the only retail console release. It should pick up next week with the new DmC: Devil May Cry hitting store shelves.

Anarchy Reigns: Available for the PS3 and Xbox 360, Anarchy Reigns is an online beat ‘em up developed by Bayonetta and Vanquish developer, Platinum Games. You can choose from a list of unique fighters each with their own strengths which includes Bayonetta in a variety of match modes like Death Match, Battle Royale and Capture the Flag.

Angelica Weaver: Catch Me When You Can: Developed by MumboJumbo and available for the PC, Angelica Weaver is an adventure game where you play a detective trying to catch a present-day killer by identifying a murderer that escaped justice a hundred years before. She also has the ability to connect with the dead.
