Capcom responds to Resident Evil 6 on-disc DLC

Youtube user FluffyQuack has posted some videos that shows Resident Evil 6‘s on-disc DLC which includes a new ‘No Hope’ difficulty, new outfits and taunts that was acquired after some modding. The videos can be seen below.

Capcom responded in a statement given to EuroGamer, “We still have unannounced DLC for RE6 that will be revealed in the coming months and while virtually all such content will not be on the disc there will be one piece of content, that for technical reasons, requires the use of a combination of newly downloaded data and data that is included on the retail game disc,” the Capcom spokesperson said.

Capcom is at it again, they were criticised for on-disc DLC earlier this year for Street Fighter X Tekken. What do you think of Capcom’s practices? Let us know in the comments below.

  1. Proof that they will do whatever it takes to make more money. Game content ON THE DISC that you would have to pay for later on. Wow.
