4J Studios has made an announcement about the progress they have made with the upcoming update for the Xbox 360 edition of Minecraft.
While they have not formally announced an exact release date, it seems we got an idea where the update will be headed to and when.
Just hours ago, the studio has confirmed that they have finished writing off the bugs in 1.8.2 update so that it will be ready for Microsoft Certification Test early this week.
Based from what we learned, the patch download should be available on the Xbox Live in the next few days to the most end of this week.
Why? Because regular retail games go into Microsoft Certification Testing and gets approved within a couple days – week.
It says up to 10 days because if they find bugs then they use the 10 days to fix and its released. In this case, 4J Studios already wrapped up a somewhat bug-free update and should be easier to handle.
We can also take the considering fact that there are no major releases early in October and also the gravity of anticipation been poured into this 1.8.2 update as they have just crossed 4 million sales in total for Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition.

You haven’t read the Fix list on the 1.8.2 update have you? It’ll fix all known duplication bugs. But on the birght side, you losers can use creative mode for infinite diamonds. ;P

1. You have to start a map in creative 2. Old maps cant carry any new blocks and 3. Why the fuck would you think you could switch, in an old game and in the middle of a game, to creative mode otherwise you would be to tempted to switch it to creative mode and cheat you self shit
On PC, you type /gamemode 1 and you will put into creative or /gamemode 0 for survival.
You can switch back and forth but any level that used creative mode won’t add to your leaderboard score
