Mass Effect Trilogy comes to PC, 360, PS3

Mass Effect Trilogy comes to PC, 360, PS3

With such an expansive sci-fi lore spanning over 5 years just to “complete” Commander Shepard’s journey, it’s only fitting that the Mass Effect franchise gets its own trilogy package — available on the PC, Xbox 360 and yes, the PS3.

Sony’s PS3 you ask? We don’t know what has happened behind the scenes, but thanks EA, for bringing Mass Effect 1 to PS3 owners finally. This is the full Mass Effect 1 experience, not the interactive comic that was originally released with Mass Effect 2 on the PS3. The only down side though, is that the trilogy pack won’t be releasing on the same day as the Xbox 360 and PC versions.

No confirmation on whether the DLCs will be included or not at this point, but we hope so at least given how a couple of them are actually good — Shadow Broker, anyone?

Mass Effect Trilogy will be available on PC and Xbox 360 this November 6th while PS3 owners will have to wait till later. When though, EA doesn’t say but let’s hope it’s before the year ends.

I guess I’m happy ps3 gamers are getting the first mass effect, but why is it more exclusives are handed over to them then vice versa?
