Week in Gaming [24-30 Sept 2012]: Mists of Pandaria, FIFA 13

World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria releases this week and EA’s long running soccer series FIFA 13 also releases this week.

Mists of Pandaria: Available for the PC, the latest expansion for World of Warcraft, Mists of Pandaria will include a new Monk class and a new Pandaren race. The level cap has also been raised from 85 to 90 and it will also feature a pet battle system.

FIFA 13: Available for every platform under the sun, this year’s version will include support for the PS Move and Kinect. New features include 1st Touch Control promising much more realistic ball control. The game also promises better AI and dribbling.

Other notable releases this week are Dead or Alive 5. Available for the PS3 and Xbox 360, it will feature destructive arenas and an interruption system. Tokyo Jungle also releases this week, a survival action game where players take on the role of animals in a post-apocalyptic version of Tokyo. FIFA 13‘s rival franchise Pro Evolution Soccer 13 (PES 13) is also being released this week for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Lastly, Darksiders 2 DLC, Argul’s Tomb releases for PSN, XBLA and PC.

    Pandaria is Blizzards final kick on WoW it has to be. The game is losing players meeting its peak in 2010 the number of subscribers is lowering its an old stale game with an old stale engine that they just keep adding on to
