Week in Gaming [17-23 September 2012]: Borderlands 2, Torchlight 2

This week gamers get to return to Pandora in Borderlands 2 and for those unhappy with Diablo 3, they get to play Torchlight 2.

Borderlands 2: Developed by Gearbox and available for the PS3, Xbox 360 and PC, Borderlands 2 is the sequel to the hit first-person shooter RPG that came out in 2009. There are four new character classes available to play as and more loot promised this time around.

Torchlight 2: Available for the PC, it is an action RPG developed by Runic Games which comprises of the founders of Blizzard North and co-designers of Diablo and Diablo 2 as well as the creator of Fate. The game features four new classes as well as cooperative multiplayer on both LAN and Internet play. The first game was known for its music, art direction and addictive combat.

Another notable release this week is the HD re-release of Jet Set Radio on the PSN, XBLA and PC.
