Wii U Daily has reported that 2014 will see the release of The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U as told by a source that previously predicted about Wii U achievements and the Miiverse.
These are the details revealed so far:
Visuals will be in the same style as Skyward Sword and in full HD
The title will not look anything like the Zelda tech demo at E3 2011
The team working on Zelda Wii U is the biggest ever assembled by Nintendo
The game is big. It will have the same amount of dungeons as previous Zelda titles but the size and scope will be much bigger. Some dungeons are broken up to three parts and will take hours to complete
First test dungeon was a forest that was bigger than the Hyrule field in Ocarina
Mini-games and side-quests are still in the planning stages
No online multiplayer but some online features like Miiverse integration and a system where players can help each other by leaving hints will be in
The game is being designed around the gamepad to take full advantage of its features
