The next downloadable content for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim will be available for the Xbox 360 on September 4 and should launch around 11 am to 12 pm GMT. Skyrim Hearthfire will give players the chance to buy land and build their own house from the ground up. The expansion allows players to utilize new tools such as the drafting table and carpenter’s workbench to transform quarried stone, clay, and sawn logs into structures and furnishings for the abode.
With the limitless potential to pick your land, customize your home, guard it from potential enemies and even adopt children to “turn your house into a home,” as just some of the features you can have when Skryim Hearthfire download arrives September 4 for Xbox 360, expect some good launch numbers for the DLC. The official release of the add-on will be priced at only 400 Microsoft Points (around $5) when it is available, a lot cheaper than the last DLC for Skyrim, Dawnguard.

Fascism? Really? You clearly don’t know a lot about… well, anything, I’d wager. I’ll admit, I’ve always hated timed exclusives, even when they’re “in my favor”. But this is a business, and clearly they’ve already figured out that people will keep paying for the thing. They’re held by a contract, now, and not losing a penny because of it. I’m pretty sure Bethesda is okay with hearing some complaints. Also, even if the MMO completely tanks, Bethesda wouldn’t go under. Petty wishful thinking on your part. Bethesda isn’t known for MMOs anyway. So, if it tanks (which it totally could), they would only lose a chunk of their demographic, but there are tons of people who would just want them to go back to the style of game they know and can make well. And then there would be customers like me, who don’t give a flying ducky about MMOs and won’t play it one way or the other. It would take a lot more than one botched MMO to kill Bethesda with the Fallout and Elder Scrolls franchises under their belts.
I hope you huys realize that elder scrolls online is made by zenimax not betthesda. Look it up if you don’t believe me.

ok cool with the DLC..im most likely going to download it tonight but i dont understand why they dont fix other things as well with these DLC’s…like i would love to be able to kill the main imperial officers in the camps..or equip only the things i want equipped on my npc’s.
Isn’t this just the best making more DLC when they can’t even get the Dawngaurd the very first DLC to work on PS3. It can come out but I wont buy it. Same goes for any other game they may release fuck you Bethesda. I really hope Bethesda is proud of what they’ve done because I know i’m not the only person that feel this way.

Bethesda will be fine from hearing complaints, besides after these last few patches and Dawnguard, I’ve really enjoyed Skyrim. Sure it was littered with bugs, but a majority of them have been fixed. As for drowning from the flop of an MMO, Bethesda will tank it and just push for a Fallout, Elder Scrolls, or a new RPG or survival game. I get Armored Kill in 7 hours on PS3, Sims 3: Supernatural on PC the SAME DAY, and then I can finish up Dawnguard in ultra HD (also on PC) if I need more to do until Hearthfire. Alright look first of all the ps3 is an inferior machine. I’m not a fanboy of Microsoft or anything, in fact I have all the current generation systems. I’m saying this from a tech point of view. Plus the re-call stats for hardware failure for Xbox was 67% higher than that of the PS3, so yeah Sony might have poor software (which btw is down to the game developers to construct around, not sony’s) but Xbox hardware is by far the worst. @lewis I agree Bethesda should have tested it more on the ps3 but the reason I say it’s Sony’s fault is that the hardware (ie the HDD) is the deeper problem the reason skyrim has so many issues is due to the way the memory caches itself and what did Xbox do to fix that when it was happening with oblivion hmmmm….. They made it so you could clear your system cache from the console alone also just so you know yes Xbox had a lot of issues when the 360 was released due to some dumbasses using shitty hardware but have you seen the system errors and the hardware malfunctions from the ps3 plus they’re marketplace blows how many new 360s have you heard about failing…… Exactly Microsoft foxed they’re shit an moved on Sony is re releasing another shitty ps3 slim model sorry fanboys stuck with the same shit for at least three more years….on a side note I do agree PC is by far the best way to play and its a lot less expensive then any console

Would love to see this dlc, but I’m a bit annoyed that I have to wait another month due to my copy of Skyrim being on the PC. You would think that with Microsoft and Bethesda being buddy buddy on this kind of thing, that DLC would be released for the 360 and the PC at the same time, considering Microsoft is invested into computer systems as much and probably more than the 360.
