Sony unleashes some new details for God of War: Ascension [UPDATE]

We were needing some new details for God of War: Ascension and Sony saw it fit to tease us a little bit more on some new details for the game. Revealing a new character and touching on the game’s length.

Sony has confirmed that the estimated length for God of War: Ascension should last close to 14 hours. A rather big ask for an action adventure title, considering the previous five God of Wars were just 5-7 hours in length.

In addition to that, Sony has also revealed Megaera — as one of the three ‘Furies’ — to be an antagonist for Kratos. In ancient Greek mythology, Megaera was the cause of jealousy and envy. She would punish especially those who commit martial infidelity.

God of War: Ascension is slated for a March 12, 2013 release exclusively on the PlayStation 3.

[UPDATE] Megaera reveal trailer added.
