Square Enix: Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 for PS3 and Xbox 360

Square Enix has announced Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 at the Final Fantasy XIII Lightning Saga Presentation event to be released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to release in 2013.

This will be Lightning’s final battle and will be the character from the first game rather than the second in which she has become more of a god. A lot of customisation will be available such as Lightning’s costume and they can be further customised by parameters. Transforming weapons is also a feature.

The game will be developed with button responses but will be short of an action game. A key element for the game is it’s world driven. Players can change the world and have a time limit to save it.
