Fallout and Planescape: Torment dev Black Isles is back

The studio responsible for such classics like the first two Fallout and Planescape: Torment is being revived by Interplay. A website was spotted by NeoGAF with the image you see below.

They also have a Facebook and Twitter account.

Interplay’s former founder Brian Fargo who is currently head of InXile tweeted , “I just read that Interplay is bringing back Black Isle. Hmmm… Not enough info for me to comment.”

Obsidian, where most of the former Black Isles Studio staff went to after it closed told Joystiq that the new Black Isles “Doesn’t involve Obsidian at all.”

Obsidian’s Chris Avellone who was lead designer on Planescape: Torment tweeted, “I know nothing about the Black Isle Studio news announcement, doesn’t involve me or Obsidian… or well, anyone that I know. ;)
