Diablo 3 to get 100 level Paragon system as end-game content

Diablo 3 to get 100 level Paragon system as end-game content

Patch 1.0.4 will introduce a 100 level Paragon system to Diablo 3 that will add 100 levels on top of the current 60-level cap.

An introduction to the system was posted on the Diablo 3 blog. Gaining a Paragon level will increase your core stats, magic find and gold find. Visually, gaining Paragon levels will also gift your character a distinctive border in his/her character profile and a new border will be given for every ten Paragon levels.

The first Paragon level would take about as long as getting from level 59 to 60 and the requirements will increase from there. To reach the higher Paragon levels will be about the same with getting level 99 in Diablo 2. To aid the players, the Nephalem Valor now provides 15% experience bonus per stack for Paragon levels.

Diablo 3 have been criticised for a lack of end-game content and Blizzard have been upfront with acknowledging it and working to address it.
