The PS3 needed a golden title for their lack luster PlayStation Move and now with Supermassive Games, they’ve got it — in the form of a horror survival, featuring teenagers.
Until Dawn’s story is reminiscent of your classic “I-am-not-scared-of-anything-teenager” plot from the 90s where a group of classmates somehow had the crazy idea of visiting a haunted site and messing with the spirits that roams the place. Now of course they are teenagers and they are on the naive naughty bit, what’s there to stop a couple from secluding themselves and having a little bit of a fun time? Yes, there is sex in Until Dawn and we’ll be looking at it, hopefully not overblown of course.
The game is played in a first-person perspective. Players will be playing with multiple characters (a total of 7 to be exact) throughout the story. The developers has promised that the PS Move will be utilized in a way so natural that you might actually tremble when trying to use an item.
And no, the game cannot be used with anything else other than the PS Move. So no DualShock 3 controls guys, at least for now… until we cause enough commotion over it that is.
Until Dawn is scheduled for release exclusively on the PS3 come 2013.
