Rumor – Wii U to release in week of Black Friday 2012 for US, Europe delayed

According to GoNintendo, the Nintendo Wii U will be releasing in the US on the week of Black Friday this year which puts the date of release around the last week of November. The site cited a source that claims to be a GameStop employee.

This should indicate that the console will release in Japan either months earlier or simultaneously. Europe however will be getting it later than the rest of us, CVG reports that the console will release only in December in EU regions due to the Wii U’s tablet controller manufacturing issues.
