Fans of fighting games are usually separated by either the casual, the hardcore or the controller-breaking-i-hate-your-mom crowd. SuperBot Entertainment apparently saw it fit that their highly anticipated 4-way fighter needs support for arcade fight sticks, and thus they will.
Revealed on the developer’s Facebook page, PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale will support all your favourite arcade fight sticks. We don’t have an official compatibility list, but we suppose most major fight sticks will be compatible.
So if you’re done playing boss at Street Fighter X Tekken, you can just pop All Stars in and about every button commands from the DualShock 3 will be automatically mapped onto your Arcade Fight Stick. The only exception however is the throw command needing a combination of a button press on the fight stick. It’s a slight advantage we know — we’ve got our asses handed just because of a cheap throw, but nevertheless a nice one.
PlayStation All Stars: Battle Royale will be available exclusively on the PS3 this coming October 23rd.
