Week in gaming [6-12 August 2012]: Persona 4: Arena, Sound Shapes

Another slow week, the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 will be getting Persona 4: Arena this week and Sound Shapes is heading to the PS Vita and PlayStation Network.

Persona 4: Arena: Developed by Arc System Works and based on the Shin Megami Tensei: Persona series, it’s a fighting game that features characters from both Persona 3 and 4. Characters will both engage in combat on their own and call on their Personas for assistance. It is the first region locked PS3 game.

Sound Shapes: Designed by Jonathan Mak and Shaw-Han Liew and developed by Queasy Games, Sound Shapes is a side-scrolling platformer with a musical element to it. Players can compose their own music and levels and share them with others.

Other releases this week are Hybrid for XBLA and The Amazing Spider-Man for the PC.
