According to GameTrailers editor-in-chief, Shane Satterfield, the Wii U will be selling at $299 when it releases saying they heard this through ‘certain channels’. Amazon Germany have also placed an unconfirmed price for the Wii U at €349.00, dropping it from the initial €399.00 price point. GameStop’s and Amazon’s listing of certain Wii U games at $100.00 have been branded by Nintendo as fictitious.
