Week in gaming [23-29 July 2012]: Malicious, Wreckateer, Inversion

Nothing much to talk about this week other than Malicious for the PlayStation Network, Wreckateer for Xbox Live Arcade and Inversion for the PC.

Malicious: Exclusively for the PSN, Malicious is a third-person action game and makes its debut on North American PSNs after first being released in Japan in 2010. Developed by Alvion, the player uses a character wearing a magical black mantel that is able to change forms (e.g. fists for close range attacks) to fight against enemies.

Wreckateer: An XBLA title for the Kinect, Wreckateer was developed by Iron Galaxy Studios. The player uses his or her body to control a castle-destroying ballista.

Inversion: A cover-based third-person shooter for the PC (released earlier for the Xbox 360 and PS3), it was developed by Saber Interactive and published by Namco Bandai. The game features destructible environments and gravity manipulation.

Other games being released this week are miCoach by Adidas for the Xbox 360 and PS3 and Prototype 2 for the PC.
