Gearbox has announced that work on Borderlands 2 is complete and the game is heading for certification as updated by community manager Chris Faylor.
The studio will now begin work on Mechromancer and other post-launch efforts. The Mechromancer is a new character class that will be available as a DLC and free for members of the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club which will be released around 60 to 90 days after launch.
Faylor also said that the class will be “one of the many bonuses for members of the Premiere Club.”
