GTA 5 will not be at Gamescom

A couple of weeks ago we reported that GTA V might make an appearance at the upcoming Gamescom this coming August 15th. However, it seems all is for naught as a Gamescom spokesperson told CVG that the GTA 5 footage on their montage trailer was simply just ‘an error’.

The project manager for Gamescom, Tim Endres further said that “Rockstar Games is not scheduled and has never been scheduled to exhibit at Gamescom 2012” — pretty much putting the nail in the coffin for any GTA 5 demo presentation or any news for that matter.

Although rumors has been heating up that we will get some new info regarding the game’s development thus far, seems like this time we will just have to wait out a little bit longer. In the mean time, perhaps this is a good time to pick up the entire GTA collection on Steam’s Summer Sale if you haven’t already.
